About the Role
BCIC Swiss GmbH | Best Connect International Company is hiring a dedicated IT Support Specialist for our on-site operations in Mannheim, Germany.
This role involves providing first and second-level IT support, maintaining hardware and software systems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day technical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first- or second-level contact and problem resolution for user issues.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to resolve complex AV or hardware problems.
- Communicate effectively on issue status and resolution timelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date ticket logs for all incidents.
- Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows OS, Mac OS, Microsoft Office, and Cisco Jabber.
- Handle installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting for printers and computer hardware.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on desktops, laptops, and printers.
- Conduct remedial repairs on authorized peripheral equipment.
- Use diagnostic tools to resolve network connectivity and hardware/software issues.
- Work collaboratively in a project-based environment requiring flexibility and teamwork.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid work permit in Germany.
- Several years of professional experience in IT support.
- Proficiency in English and German (minimum B2 level).
