We are looking for an experienced HSE Supervisor (Electrical) to join a large-scale petrochemical project in the Antwerp area. This role is ideal for someone with solid HSE experience in industrial environments who is passionate about maintaining the highest safety standards on site.

We are looking for an experienced HSE Supervisor (Electrical) to join a large-scale petrochemical project in the Antwerp area. This role is ideal for someone with solid HSE experience in industrial environments who is passionate about maintaining the highest safety standards on site.

Your responsibilities

  • Supervise HSE compliance during electrical construction activities
  • Conduct HSE inspections, audits, risk assessments and Job Safety Analyses (JSA)
  • Ensure the safe implementation of LOTO procedures and control of energized systems
  • Monitor work in hazardous (ATEX) and confined space environments where applicable
  • Lead toolbox talks focused on electrical hazards and high-risk activities
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, implementing corrective and preventive actions
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with site safety procedures
  • Maintain HSE documentation and participate in client inspections and audits
  • Cooperate closely with project teams, subcontractors and client HSE representatives
  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across the project

We are looking for someone who has

  • Documented HSE qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of HSE experience on petrochemical, refinery, oil & gas or other heavy industrial projects
  • Experience supervising HSE activities during electrical construction works
  • Good knowledge of electrical safety standards, LOTO procedures and occupational health & safety regulations
  • Familiarity with ISO 45001, OSHA and refinery/petrochemical HSE requirements
  • Very good command of English (minimum B2)
  • Accuracy, responsibility and a proactive approach to safety

Nice to have

  • NEBOSH or equivalent certification
  • ATEX awareness certification
  • Experience with high-voltage systems and energization procedures
  • EPC project experience
