Location: Salzburg, Austria Start Date: March 2026 Contract Type: Full-time / Permanent Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, 5 days Salary: €2300-€2600 gross per month
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Chef de Rang to join our team in Salzburg. This role offers the opportunity to work with leading employers in the hospitality industry and advance your career while enjoying Austria’s rich cultural heritage and stunning landscapes.
Responsibilities:
Welcome guests and ensure a pleasant dining experience
Take food and beverage orders
Serve dishes and beverages professionally
Explain menu items and daily specials to guests
Coordinate with kitchen and sommelier staff
Maintain cleanliness and order in your station
Handle guest requests and resolve minor complaints
Prepare tables for service (mise en place)
Requirements:
Excellent proficiency in German (B2/C1) and English (spoken and written)
Proven experience in a similar hospitality role
Friendly, motivated personality with a passion for working with people
EU passport or valid work permit for Austria
