We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a global infrastructure team responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing enterprise network environments across cloud and on-premises platforms.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a global infrastructure team responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing enterprise network environments across cloud and on-premises platforms.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of critical network infrastructure, including routers, switches, VPNs, firewalls, and cloud networking solutions. You will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to support day-to-day operations, incident management, network modernization initiatives, and security enhancements based on modern Zero Trust principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain global network infrastructure, including Azure Cloud networking, switches, routers, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity across global locations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, escalating issues to appropriate teams or vendors when necessary.
  • Implement practical and timely solutions to restore network functionality and minimize service disruptions.
  • Participate in network architecture improvements, infrastructure upgrades, and configuration changes.
  • Support the installation, maintenance, and decommissioning of network hardware and software.
  • Maintain accurate network documentation, including configurations, diagrams, operational procedures, and standards.
  • Assist with audit and compliance activities by providing technical evidence and documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure network services meet business requirements.
  • Contribute to the adoption of modern networking and security technologies, including Zero Trust architectures.
  • Manage multiple priorities while maintaining high service quality and meeting project deadlines.

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong experience managing enterprise network infrastructure in global environments.
  • Experience with Cisco networking technologies, including routers, switches, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC), SD-WAN, and Cisco ISE.
  • Experience with Azure cloud networking and infrastructure.
  • Experience with Cloudflare Proxy and Cloudflare DNS.
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust security principles and architectures.
  • Experience with web content filtering and secure access solutions such as Zscaler.
  • Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
  • Experience maintaining network documentation and supporting compliance activities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across global teams.
  • Fluent English communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Infoblox DDI.
  • AWS cloud networking experience.
  • Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure automation tools.
  • Experience with CloudWatch and/or Azure Monitor.
  • Familiarity with observability and monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, Grafana, and Prometheus.
  • Cloud certifications such as:
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C02)
  • AWS Advanced Networking Specialty (ANS-C01)
  • Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700)
  • Zscaler certifications such as:
  • Zscaler for Users (SSE)
  • Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA)
  • Zscaler Private Access (ZPA)
  • Zero Trust Certified Associate (ZTCA)

Additional Information

  • Experience working in international and globally distributed environments is highly valued.
  • The role requires a proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure while managing critical network incidents.
  • Candidates should be comfortable working across multiple technologies, vendors, and cloud environments.
