We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. This role is key in managing day-to-day accounting operations, streamlining processes, and providing insights that support business decisions.

What you will do:

  • Lead daily accounting functions (AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, reconciliations).

  • Interco reconciliations.

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes.

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.

  • Oversee and mentor accounting staff.

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

  • Partner with auditors and external advisors.

  • Drive process improvements and system enhancements.


What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

  • 5+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ in a supervisory role.

  • Strong understanding of BEL GAAP and financial reporting.

  • Proficiency with the following software is a plus: Exact Online, Odoo, Zenvoices, and Excel.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Native or professional command of French and Dutch languages.

  • Resident of Brussels (or surrounding areas) with legal right to work in Belgium.
