About the Role
We are seeking a German-speaking Content Moderator to support our moderation operations in Malta. You'll play a vital role in ensuring online content aligns with platform guidelines and contribute to a positive user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Review user-generated content (e.g., advertisements) in both German and English to ensure compliance with community standards.
- Respond to user inquiries via email with professionalism and empathy.
- Provide customer support across various marketplace-related topics.
- Attend ongoing training to stay informed on guidelines, trends, and moderation best practices.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain service quality.
- Share insights with management about recurring user concerns and suggest improvements.
- Propose updates to publication policies for a better user experience.
- Follow internal processes and uphold company values.
- Make informed moderation decisions in line with policies.
No prior experience is required – full training is provided!
Ideal Candidate
- Fluent in German with a good command of English.
- Quick-thinking, adaptable, and reliable in a fast-paced setting.
- Attentive to detail with strong observational skills.
- Caring and motivated to help maintain a safe online environment.
- Interested in online marketplaces, digital platforms, or emerging technologies (a plus, not required).
- Prior experience in moderation or customer service is a bonus, but not essential.
