About the Role

We are seeking a German-speaking Content Moderator to support our moderation operations in Malta. You'll play a vital role in ensuring online content aligns with platform guidelines and contribute to a positive user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review user-generated content (e.g., advertisements) in both German and English to ensure compliance with community standards.
  • Respond to user inquiries via email with professionalism and empathy.
  • Provide customer support across various marketplace-related topics.
  • Attend ongoing training to stay informed on guidelines, trends, and moderation best practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain service quality.
  • Share insights with management about recurring user concerns and suggest improvements.
  • Propose updates to publication policies for a better user experience.
  • Follow internal processes and uphold company values.
  • Make informed moderation decisions in line with policies.

No prior experience is required – full training is provided!

Ideal Candidate

  • Fluent in German with a good command of English.
  • Quick-thinking, adaptable, and reliable in a fast-paced setting.
  • Attentive to detail with strong observational skills.
  • Caring and motivated to help maintain a safe online environment.
  • Interested in online marketplaces, digital platforms, or emerging technologies (a plus, not required).
  • Prior experience in moderation or customer service is a bonus, but not essential.
